LUNA (Learning Urban Nature through Art)
Fall Program Starts October 11!
We have an exciting project for the Fall--creating a Community Planting Guide Coloring Book using the drawings LUNA students have made and we will be adding more! The guide will have planting tips, community planting resources, and several pages of wonderful drawings for coloring!
We are looking for kids and parents/guardians/community members who would like to work with us on this project! We will be working with a professional graphic designer and will meet two days/week for 5 weeks. If you can only come to one of the two days, that is fine. However, to ensure completion of our project, we ask that especially the kids have weekly attendance for the 5 weeks of the program. We also ask that parents/guardians register their kids to ensure their place in the program.
We will have an ORIENTATION & REGISTRATION Tuesday, October 11, 4-6pm. Everyone is welcome to see what we have accomplished so far and what we plan to do for the Planting Guide! Refreshments will be served. RSVP is appreciated. For more info see our web site at lunapittsburgh.org. You can register your kids in advance to ensure their place in the program using the Word (.doc) version of the form below. Please fill it out and email it back to us or drop it off to Kingsley Association.
